Someone asked for "real life" pics of the new impala...so here they are. I've since tinted the windows and will post pics as soon as i get to takin'' them. I''m waiting on some black vinyl to do the front & rear bowties, and i may remove the front plate & bracket, which is currently riveted into the bumper cover.

Stock Exhaust Clip 1 / Clip 2 / Clip 3 / 0-75mph (in rain, windows closed, no traction Rolling Eyes)

POST (35%/15%) TINT

Still looks damn good in the winter Very Happy

Reflective Black "SS" Overlays - Courtesy Pitch Black SS/NAIOA Store and Ryan @ GrafxWerks

(got rid of the "V8" though)

LeBra Hood Protector - still undecided on appearance...maybe not: removed 4/6/06

Last, but definitely not LEAST: the beast behind the curtain! Roomy, eh? Rolling Eyes

K&N Aircharger Installed 9/13/2006 - Yes, she got an engine bay bath right after this Rolling Eyes

Have fun with your new vehicle, there are a few photoshop chops elsewhere on this site that show what the car looks like lowered with a two tone paint job and other kinds of rims. I''m hoping to get my hands on a 96 Impala in one form or another........

That''s pretty mean telling someone their wheels are gay. I think your wheels are gay.

The 06 Impala SS is a nice looking modern car and those are great pics! Only thing missing was a underhood shot.

Gay rims? I dont like the rims either but i prob wouldnt ditch them

The license plate (lol) wtf is so funny, here in the states we HAVE TO have a license plate in a lot of places. if you do NOT have a license plate its a auto ticket for $150 or so. We just got used to it down here

Yeah, in NY the front plate is required, but i plan to take it off anyway. In Buffalo, you''re more likely to get a "plate" ticket from a metermaid as opposed to a cop, and i''ve got family in the Parking Violations dept. so i can get away with it. Right now, i''ve switched the plate to a "#1 NY Fan" ( love''em or hate''em, the Yanks are my team - let the bashing begin!) It looks identicle to the standard NY plates...most don''t know it''s even aftermarket:

The plate bracket is riveted to the bumper cover, and the bumper cover wraps all the way underneath the car, so gaining access should i need to reinstall the bracket could prove troublesome, but it''s worth a try.

Regarding the wheels - i happen to like them - and they''re easy as hell to clean, too!

The wheels arent that bad, but i do think the car looks like it sits too high. Wouldnt mind seeing it lowered a little. I also wouldnt mind seeing a more stylish spoiler, the one on it looks a bit standard to me. Overall though, it''s a good looking car, and will probably be very nice once some aftermarket comes out for it.

I had to go to the dealer today and get something to try to fix my car (i know ....) They had alot of the 06 SS''s sitting out and i got to look and touch a few of them, the LT and all of that.

Dont know about the styling still, it does look better in person i will say then pictures. I didnt really dig the steering wheel, but otherwise the interior was pretty nice, the gauges were cool, nice little car
