2004 Chevy Impala SS Indianapolis Speedway Edition
-Bought 8 years ago with 84k miles on it.
-0 problems with the car. Runs great just ready for a new one. Car is fast and fun. Tires are pretty new and oil changes are up to date.
GM Recall 14574 and 14350 have been completed.
-The car does shake some when braking on the highway. Front wheel bearing might need to be replaced at some time.
-Car is a little too loud for my taste. I've installed mods to quiet it down.
-The hood is faded pretty bad
- The inside of the rims are peeling. No major issue just more visual if anything.

2004 Chevy Impala SS Indy Edition
Chevrolet is introducing a special 2004 Impala Indy SS to commemorate its long relationship with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis 500.
The limited-edition model will have a production run of 4,088 units and is being offered through select Chevrolet dealerships in the United States and Canada. It is believed that this is the first passenger car other than an official pace car to feature an Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Indianapolis 500 theme.
The Indy SS package is based on the new-for-2004 Impala SS sedan. At its heart is GM's 3800 Series II supercharged V-6, delivering 240 horsepower at 5,200rpm and an impressive 280lb/ft of torque at 3,600rpm. The torque curve is consistently high over a broad operating range, providing instant off-the-line acceleration and ample power for highway merging and passing.
Unique to the Impala Indy SS are 17-inch chrome diamond-cut aluminum wheels, monotone cross-lace grille with 'gold' Chevy bowtie emblem and a rear spoiler. There's no doubt as to the connection with the 2.5-mile oval, as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's famous 'Wing and Wheel' logo is found on the front fenders and instrument panel, as well as embroidered into the front seat head restraints and floor mats.
Like the standard Impala SS, the Indy SS is available only in a monochromatic black exterior, complimented with gray leather seating surfaces inside.
The car will be sold and would love it to be sold to a NAIOA member.
Car will be listed at $4000.
Serious inquiries only.

A true gem amongst vehicles. Alas, I can not buy this vehicle as my funds will be spread thin upgrading my Regal GS, however I truly hope that amongst us is a true car aficianado who will appreciate this beauty for what it is; a well kept work of art.
