I have a problem with my retained accessory power, about half the time when I open the drivers door the RAP system doesn't shut down the power to the radio, windows ect. I do get the dome light on when opening the door, so is this likely a wire or a problem with the latch? also opening other doors does turn it off.

Maybe the RAP relay is sticking. Exchange it with another one and see if the problem goes away.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the BCM. Try replacing the relay first and if it doesn't work have a dealer check it for you.

Alright I'll give the relay a try. I have found that usually when it doesn't work I can open and close the door a few times and will shut off, any oater door being open will shut it off from my testing.

bad button on the door

the driver side gets the most wear

It ended up being the door lock actuator, replaced it with dorman part #746-017.
The gear thing on it is the switch that tells the car the door is open, you have to make sure that gear is in just the right spot when you put it back together or it will think the door is open or closed all the time.
