any reason why it's slow to shift. the code it gives is " incorrect gear ratio"..all gears shift though

. I have to manually shift thew the gears startin at gear 2 then it will sgift at 40mph into 3rd once I get it to 40 mph in second gear

and then I'll s**t into 4th at 55mph

if I let it do its "thing" by it self it will just sit and Rev the engine like if it was in neutral gear.

Was the transmission rebuilt at all? PCM tuned?

Barring that, my guess is that your PCM was somehow flashed with the wrong program.

Do you have a tuner that you can read the gear ratio data with or the calibration ID in the PCM? If so you can cross-reference the valid calibration IDs with your VIN here: https://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web

Is it possible the transmission shop changed your gear ratio?
