Started up my v6 3.8 LS the other a.m. and when I shifted to reverse, the turn signal lights came onsolid on the dash. I also noticed that thefog light button illuminated , even tho it had not been pushed. So the rear lights work ok, but the front turn signals blink really faston dash and only blink in 4 way mode from the front.
Does anyone have an idea where I should start checking....turn signalsprove to bevery important.........

Thankyou,,,,,, Shocked

cheapest thing to replace that may cause this is the flasher. Its located behind the Hazard / 4 Way button on the dash.

does the low or high flash on the signal bulb?

if it's the low i.e parking light flashing

then check the ground wire on the driver side it's right near the headlight

Nothing has changed... checked grounds...all bulbs...replaced flasher. All bulbs sockets are corrosion free.

Could this be as simple as adefective ignition switch? Possibly a ...crapped out BCM. Any thoughts would be very helpful.

BCM's have been known to do some crazy stuff when on the way out. Unfortunately it can only be replaced with a new unit from GM. Hate to say it but a trip to a stealer ship mite be your best bet to track down the problem.
