Decided I o swap gasket while replacing tranny, only to find a bunch of bearing particles. Must happened for the short time it revved high. It has been suggested to use a heavier weight oil and motor honey or lucas to keep it running for longer.

I wish this car would stop fighting me. Crying or Very sad

If it makes you feel better I found a paper towel in the bottom of mine when I had the pan off the 1st time.

If you think its bearings then just put a set in. Just get the standard size. Not too difficult to do since the pan is off. Is the car knocking?

No. No knock at all. My friend already has it buttoned all up and just suggested thicker oil-band aid I know. Just cant afford another thousand for a used engine right now. Hate to get rid of it.

Everything is easy compared to getting the oil pan off of these 3.8
