Many of these options are controlled by the BCM. Since you car did not come from the factory with heated seats, the BCM has no idea that heated seats are now in the car. You might have success if you can directly wire them to a 12 volt fused source. GARY

Ahhh you might have something there which 12v source do you think would be a good choice?

Couldn't really answer you there, but I'd guess somewhere from the fuse box. GARY

Just the positive correct? If anybody has the wiring diagram for the heated seats that would be great!!

I'm fairly certain that there would be a relay and perhaps a circuit breaker somewhere in one of the fuse boxes, much like there is for the rear defroster...

I don't recall seeing anything about heated seats when I programmed a new BCM for my car, but that was about seven or eight years ago now. Wink

I seem to remember people doing this swap before without and BCM issues. As Frank said, check the other boxes for other modules that may be shot / missing. Also, the seats themselves may be faulty. Its not an uncommon issue to have the element power wire break off inside the seat.

Yea i know i think it may be the seats guys.. Wire the positive wire from the seat to a 12v source and still no go... Look like that might be the culprit..so i guess... Pull the seat apart? Check connections?

may be able to see it from the back bu pulling the cover off slightly. It has been fixed successfully in the past by people here. Usually requires a bit of soldering

My passenger heater seat works, but not the drivers side. I researched this last winter and it seems like I was left with the notion that it was likely a broken wire within the seat itself, which can be soldered if you peel back the leather seat cover a bit. Seems like that was a fairly common issue. I haven't fixed mine yet.
