In case anyone doesn't know my current car is a 2002 grand Prix gt. All stock except exhaust work. I still have an impala but my car is the Prix. I refuse to invest in a grand Prix forum cause this one is my home and the cars are similar enough.

Replaced my starter a couple weeks ago. I did it in the driveway using a floor jack under the LF wheel. Didn't have any issues with wires etc. Afterward my abs light is on. After scanning the are various codes, but the only one that points to anything solid is a right rear abs sensor. I can of course change the hub but I would like any thoughts about whether this is coincidence or if I could have done something.

Thanks for any thoughts/help

Try cleaning the EBCM ground...should be under the air box. Worth a shot.

I will try that tomorrow. I usually go through my ground and grind the paint off, as more grounds, but haven't taken the time to do so yet. Thanks

if it turns on when you start the car the sensor is dead

After finally taking to a friends shop to diag, apparently the two small wires were installed backwards. why that made the abs light illuminate, idk. but, if anyone runs into that, that's what fixed it was switching the wires.
