So Google isn't being very helpful as instructions for removing the front bumper cover show up instead. I haven't yet taken a good look under the rear of the car to see if there are any hidden fasteners so I'll ask here: can anyone tell me how to remove the rear bumper? It was a spontaneous idea since I want to go back and paint the trim moulding while it's off the car so it looks nicer and eliminate the possibility of overspray. Figured I can get better answers/help here Laughing TIA

There are a couple hidden bolts in the rear fender wells that can be accessed with a long extension. The fasten the bumper cover to the rear quarter. The are vertical (up and down). Then its just push pins around the trunk.

Thanks, 98ss. If I have all the material I need I'll get to repainting today Smile

So I went ahead and began removing all the push pins and screws that held the bumper cover in place, and once I had removed everything I can see, there's still something holding it on very firmly. The bottom was ready to come off as well as the top center where the trunk closes, but I found 2 big rivet looking things under the brake lights that seem to hold it in place. I couldn't find a way to stick a drill in there and they had no bolt head or square drive as well as no way to access the other end of them. With no clear idea on what to do next I reassembled everything and called it a day. Any ideas on how to remove those "rivets"/screws? Really the only thing that stopped me Confused
