I'm prob asking a dumb question here and I've searched 3 sites now...
So please go easy on me...

My little brother just bought the ZZP F-body kit for his LS..
I'm trying to figure out if we need to buy Impala front pads or F-body front pads...

Can someone please school me?

Embarassed

f body since its using f body calipers. The pads are designed to fit the caliper, not the car

rears are still w body since it doesnt change.

I think after the f-body upgrade the brake pedal will have a little more travel in it. If it's a big deal you can install SS lines to combat this. Although even with stock brakes they're pretty nice. Very Happy

Just to clarify..... SS as in Stainless Steel, not lines from an Impala SS

Impala SS lines are the same as base model. Stainless lines will increase pedal pressure due to the reduced flex over rubber lines

dont feel bad. When I ordered parts for the SS once, they didnt list Impala, so I called and ordered front pads & rotors for a 2002 Camaro, rear pads and rotors for a 04 Monte Carlo and SS lines for a 93 Grand Prix.

Poor guy was all confused. His statement to me and on my invoice was "cant guaranty that these parts will fit your car, no refunds or returns except for defective items"

Have the same problem with the 86 Monte. Has S10 suspension parts, V6 Olds AC parts, and a motor with a head design off 87+ trucks
