Having an issue...
Turn the key to the run position and nothing, no crank from the engine, all the lights on the dash come on, full battery power. I have had this happen to me several times now in a few months now. I would try a few times to crank again and again and it started. Sometimes I used the key FOB to lock/unlock doors and it started. Now recently it didn't start for over 3 hours. I noticed if the car sits for over 12 hours it happens. Even it happened after the car sitting for about 1 hour. I have tried using both orginal GM keys I have, no difference. I haven't tried doing the relearn procedure. No security light on either.
I'm suspecting the GM Passlock issue. Any opinions or solutions??

So I replaced the starter ignition switch and ignition housing/passlock sensor. As well I did the Passlock relearn.
