I was on the way to work the CEL came on and I pulled a p0135 code for a heated 02 sensor 1 bank 1 heater circuit malfunction. Would this be a result of not having that code erased from a tuned PCM I installed or was it just that the sensor died on me? I haven't had time to go out and check so any help on here could save me time later

Most likely the heating element inside the sensor died. It can be verified by pulling the sensor out and checking with a multimeter. There will be 4 wires in the 02 sensor. The 2 that are the same color is the heating circuit. Check the continuity across the terminals.

I'd definitely do that, but after reinstalling the original PCM, I had no codes thrown and did a couple of runs. I read somewhere that the particular code monitoring begins specifically from a cold start which it was the times I drove the car. So I think it's safe to say this rules out a bad 02 sensor and is just a detail I'll need to have erased from the PCM when I send it back for a new one Sad

I'll be calling Mike today to see what he thinks and if he can find a solution. I like the difference the tune made, but I'm not going to be driving around with that code set Snooty

Yes, that was the first thing I did after pulling up information on the code, still came back on during the next drive
