Is there anything I should look out for on the 05 SS?

I was looking at one locally for 5400 with 115k I was kinda considered with the Rims since it's not the original factory 2005 SS wheels

it looks like it has the cheap stock 16" rims that you get with the lower tier LS\

maybe he was trying to turn a extra profit on the rims

Is that a standard LS front bumper too?

The front bumper does look like one from an LS, and the wheels are the standard 16's, but if I came across that SS none of those things would stop me from buying it. You'll still have the L67, all the SS options, and if it bugs you that much you can swap wheels and bumper in the future
What I wouldn't do is pay the full asking price. Tell the seller to lower it due to the changes and go from there. Your call in the end, just my 2 Cents

I'm concerned about the front bumper only because that means it's been replaced. That, along with the wheels, makes me wonder the history of the car.

That's all well and good, and it could very well be nothing, but that bumper was changed out for some reason. I would want to know what it was.

I'm sorry—I'm not trying to harsh on you. It's just that there are some alarm bells going off in my head about this car, and I'm not the one who will be spending money on it. It could very well be a great car that truly has no issues. Maybe a previous owner didn't like the SS bumper, so they switched it out. Maybe they took it off to sell it because of what they were going for. Maybe the same for the wheels.

But, personally, without knowing the answers to that, I wouldn't touch that car.

X2 with overlord. Stock is always easier to sell rather then a modded car - not everyone likes your taste in radio, speakers, exhaust, rims, ect

LS and SS have the same bumper except for the lower 2 inches. This is an SS, it has the lower chin spoiler

Yeah, Pitch is right. I didn't look closely enough the first time but it does have the front spoiler. He should know, he had an SS

Where is this car being sold? The last place the report say the car was in is Las Vegas. If it moved over to California.... I'll pay the owner a visit if he's close enough and Impala-03 is no longer interested Laughing

Looks like its missing the SS headrests, I'd check out the interior.

Seems like they sold off the easy to remove SS parts
