Just swapped a l67 , harness, pcm and trans from a 2004 SS into a 2004 9C1. The original motor in the 9c1 ran great, trans was shot , i swapped everything out now it will not start. So i did a little research and sent the PCM off to Overkill to get a tune and program it with the vin of the car. Received it back ,no start , no security light ,no click, no turning over or nothing but all the gauges seem to be working correctly. Does anyone know if the neutral safety switch could be the problem? Any ideas will greatly be appreciated.

Its not like the old days Crying or Very sad The switch for the 4T65E is inside the transmission. I hope its not your problem. Guess you have tryed placing in neutral and other positions? 12v is at the starter when key is on? All grounds are attached? All connections are good? The BCM is from the donor car?

Yes tried park and neutral, all grounds are good , Bcm is original to the car , i was told it needs to stay to operate the police functions that differ from the ss i guess like surv mode. Turns over with a remote starter.

Overkill did change the Vin in the PCM to match the BCM thats in the car ? All the relays are in place? It sounds like a wiring problem, but I'm just a backyard mechanic. Hopefully someone else's will chime in.

Yes they did change the vin, all wiring is in place . Do the Ignition modules have to be bolted on for it to turn over, dont know if its some sort of ground ?
