i have a 2004 impala ss i went 2 the store came back out cranked the car up it would'nt crank all the way up then i tried again and it did but the engine light came on but i do remeber putting the wrong gas in by mistake a full tank of 87 instead of 93 it has still been running fine but i wonder why the light won't go off do you think it's the gas or do i need to go get it checked

Go get it scanned, maybe MAF sensor? But could be a number of things.

Go to Autozone or O'Reillys or whatever and have 'em scan it.
Ask if you can get a printout of the code results, then ask if you can clear the code (they cannot, by law, but they can let you push the button to do so).
The printout will list possible causes for the code you get. If shoddy fuel is a cause of one, then you should be fine.

i went and got it scanned and it came back with a c1298 which is the wheel hub and the oxygen sensor already ordered the parts just want to say thanks for all the help
