2004 SS L67:

As I accelerate, Ill get a brief screech noise after about 35-40mph. Only lasts less than a second, then stops.

Can not duplicate in park revving.

Sort of sounds like a bearing squeal or even a whistle..

Only noticed it when driving with the window down, radio off.

inspect the belt(s) ?

Hard too say. Could be the IAC valve. I know it's problem with the L36 3.8s, I don't know about the L67s.

I had a sound similar to this, it turned out to be a leaky resonator.

SOLVED:

Ended up being the pulley on the alternator was a little loose....
