damn thing took a dump again

not see any power loss or vibration above 900-1k rpm but but the engine does not feel smooth at idle the RPM gauge moves up and down slightly so there is some power loss at idle

is it possibly a Bad ignition coil I have a brand new set I'm installing tomorrow

are BDW ignition coils any good?

I also have a set of used Original coils as well each one is numbered
From a 3.8l camaro

Should I try the used coils or just install the new ones

Try cleaning the throttle body, idle air control (IAC) and MAF.
Use the proper spray cleaner for each item.

Unless they are tested and proven to be good, then why would you waste your time installing them to see if it fixes your problem?

I know people do it to save money, but used parts, besides hard parts (brackets, bars, etc) arent a great solution for anything. Unless you know how to test a part, why would you want to use an "unknown" condition piece.

I would never buy used electronic (besides radios and the such), wearable items, tires, soft parts and many other items. Especially from a junk yard.

I agree completely. Also just use AC/Delco for anything ignition related (plugs, wires, coil pack, etc.)

Yep the Mass air flow sensor is blown
With it disconnected it runs smooth and silky idle.
I removed the honey cone and it seems better and not shaking violently like before

Well, that's not normal. Whatever broke the screen may have also broken the MAF...

What Frank said... Is this the engine that came in the car ? To my knowledge the screens don't break up like that on there own.
