Are you sure you need a whole new cover? Not just a gasket?

Get the new grommets. Most gasket kits will come with them anyway.

Mine was super easy after I pulled the intake manifold off...I did upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets at the same time. Wink

This makes sense - if you're going to have it off anyway...

But seeing this makes me wonder why the hell I got another FWD car Laughing

My upper intake manifold was fine so I didn't replace it. I used the Felpro gasket set for both the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets when I changed them in 2006ish.

It wasn't warped and it had no holes or melted spots.

Just for the sake of a complete thread heres an update.

I bought the felpro valve cover gasket , no grommets included but they were not needed as they were what seemed like built into the valve cover. Any who, the job wasnt terrible from what I recall but it definitely took some work. My memory blows but what i do remember was that I had to take the alternator off and I had the sec air pump solenoid (valve?) at least partly off. Anyways no more oil leaks, at least from the valve cover. Huzzah!
