Yes... But there is a piece you must cut off. Very simple to do with a razor knife. I believe it is in that write up

I installed the above part on my 05 Impala. It was designed for 06+ cars, but fits the 05 just fine. I had no problem with the original part, but I decided to upgrade anyways. I practiced on several cars in the bone yard, so I would know what to do on my car. It is well documented here, & a small amount of plastic removal is required. On the 10 or so cars I practiced on, only 2 had the original style seal out of place, causing a water leak. The rest were all fine, & had no leaks. The part is less than $5, & at the most, a half hour of your time. While in there, change the filter too. GARY

It's almost impossible for the revised part to slip off compared to the crappy gasket thing that came from the factory.

Might I note that I had this same problem and used this replacement part but I believe my problem was with the drains on both sides of the car. If those are clogged with leaves and debris, it won't matter if u replace the weatherstripping with the deflector, the water will continue to back up through the cabin air filter. At least I believe this is what was going on with mine.

I may look into this part as well. I've never had a problem with it leaking, but it would be nice insurance too have. Plus it's real cheap too. Very Happy
