I guess there wasn't anyone in the backseat. They would be dead as hell. Shocked

That's one thing the W-body is good at. They are built like a tank and can take a huge hit. Hell, I totaled a Saab 9-3 with my Monte Carlo (other driver failed to yield while making a left turn) and all my car needed was paint on the bumper and fender.

yeah my dad hit the guard rail at 45mph it only did 5,400 worth of damage

the thing that cost the most was the broken axle and suspension damage this was back in 2003 when the 2000 LS model was a relatively new car. the tire was at 70* angle .
body damage was minimal to the fender and bumper area in 06 he traded it in at 165k miles

windshield did not even break.

He even hit a shopping cart at 50 mile per hour

little piece of the bumper broke off because of that

for a 06 sentra and put 215k miles on it before getting a toyota corolla 2013 he has today

he feel asleep at the wheel
since then they have upgraded the bridge
but only made it more dangerous.
since they changed the guard rail to wooden fences I can only imagine round wood posts flying into your car at 55mph Rolling Eyes

Yeah but it's the person in the tractors fault since it lacks required safety equipment like orange triangle sign

but green blends in great in the forest

surely if it had it the car would have not gotten ran over

Yeah I fell asleep at the wheel once

apparently I was driving perfectly and no one noticed in the car
the bumps from the reflectors woke me up.

I only have memory from getting on the US-101 and waking up on the CA-118

thats a 13.5 miles trip...

and two other occasions of split second loss of consciousness .

and those two times I jerked the wheel to the left. exactly like the time I woke up on the CA-118.

one time years ago i was getting tired behind the wheel. so i pulled into a gas station to rest it was like 4am. i was only 15 minutes from home. so i got up and started to drive home, next thing i know i woke up was about 20 feet from the woods and it was a dead end.

not knowing where i was at or how fast i was going i slammed on the brakes. the weird part was the car didnt react to the brakes. nor was it moving i looked around and realized i just woke up and was dreaming that started driving again and i was still parked at the gas station. needless to say i was wide awake after that
