The 9C1/9C3 (police package options) have thicker radiators and two high wattage fans (as opposed to just one high and one lower wattage fan). I'm not certain on the particular sizes, but I believe 5/8" is the standard core size and either 7/8" or 1" is the upgraded one for the 9C1/9C3.

I just put a radiator for a 1996 Monte Carlo in my car last week for an even thicker radiator. You will have to fabricate a mounting bracket on the right side for the cooling fans and use a longer bolt than the stock bolt on the left side since the mounting holes for the cooling fans won't line up, but other than that it should drop right in.

That's something you have to ask yourself and look to see what you have now. If you are having overheating issues (especially with the AC on) then it would be wise to get a thicker radiator.

Personally, I was having issues since I do a lot of mountain driving here which is why I upgraded.
