Got these 8-LED pieces with the headlights a while back, and finally tried them in the stock fog housings. I think they look good, but,I'm probably gonna go with something a brighter. I've found some viable options,so I'll update when I get that done. Keep in mind when you critique that this is a maiden voyage...although your feedback is always welcomed. (the timestamps on the pics are obviously wrong)

That doesn't look half bad! But, I agree: get something brighter.

color match the housings so they blend better or paint them black to make them stand out. Otherwise, nice job

Thanx Pitch Black...I actually wanted to use the all black (pitch black as a matter of fact) aftermarket fogs that were on the car, ...but getting the lens off wouldn't have been pretty. Rolling Eyes So I went with the stocks for the endeavor, and we'll see what happens next. Wink

I like it,... a lot. Very Happy

If anything, you could wire them up directly and use them as always on DRL's.

it looks nice.
maybe as somebody said, if you paint them inside in black and with out lens...
btw, how you remove it (lens)?

for wiring to acttive by DRLs, i jack them from position lamp bulb in head lamp
with a small screw driver you can remove terminals from the conector
and attached there the + wire, i remember in that conector there are 3 wires
ground, position lamps + and hazard lamps + . not so diffcult, head lamp remove is need it to make space.

Love the idea but they have to be brighter like mentioned.

Cheap & easy, but I just put clear bulbs in my turn signal/marker lights & it made a huge difference in the look of the front end. Not really about "visibility" just looks, but they put off more light without being a hazzard.

I didn't think I would be able to. But,after toying with it,the lens seemed to wanna come off. So,I just carefully/gradually worked it off. The "gasket" seemed to be a lil' sticky, almost like a windshield seal but not quite as tacky. Since I couldn't get the aftermarket/blacker fogs apart I went with it. As stated,it was/is an experiment.

I hope and expect to improve on it.

should have put a turn signal inside the fog light housing as well since that after market headlight has a a forward facing reflector
