I just took delivery of my new 2014 2LTZ and I bought a Drawtite hitch for it, P/N 36537 or 90234. Got it from etrailer.com. I bought a hitch from them for my old '09 LS and it went on it 20 minutes. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience putting one on the new LTZ '14's - the etrailer website does not have any videos yet and by the looks of it my whole rear cover may have to come off or at least the lower black portion of the fascia that surrounds the exhaust tips and that is something I did not bargain for. If the lower black portion surrounding the exhaust tips was all I had to take off wouldn't be too bad but I can't figure out how to do that. Was hoping someone here could help or guide me on this installation or suggest a website or you tube video I could watch. I bought this model hitch because I did not want the one that bolted to the suspension as they have them. Once on this would be a cleaner install bolted to the frame instead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

not too many 14 owners here yet. Even with the older models, dont recall too many hitch installs talked about. Its not the car people buy when they plan on towing

Thank you for your input and you are right - I did not buy this car to tow. The hitch is a class 2 hitch 1-1/4" receiver used for a bicycle rack - I have one on my '09 LS but am really struggling with this one, that is why I was looking for help. I called Drawtite today and they referred me back to the dealer and the dealer said they have to call Drawtite. Sounds like a vicious circle - I guess I will see where this gets me - was just hoping someone had some experience and could help. I guess I will keep my fingers crossed and maybe someone will have some input that will help. Thanks so much.
