I'd go OEM. I handled a few aftermarket ones and they all felt cheap to me compared to an OEM one. I ended up getting them from ZSPOT and was glad I went that route.

Normally the "Energy Suspension" type mounts have such a high durometer rubber that they are basically a solid mount. Great for your racecar, but in a driver they break things if you dont replace all engine/trans mounts at the same time & they cause an annoying vibration in the steering wheel, not to mention a making "squeak city" out of anything loose. Your right on with sticking with OEM types.

Unrelated story, but I had a pretty much stock 91 Z28. Took it to the track one night to play & broke the stock tranny mount on the first pass & had to limp back home. I threw in a Energy Suspension tranny mount, thinking "I got this, my drag car runs all solid mounts, I'm Superman!" Went back the next week & broke BOTH engine mounts..I replaced everything (engine & tranny) with new GM OEM's & she was perfect for the rest of the year. Lesson learned!

the only one I would differ my opinion on is the lower one under me the crank shaft pulley. that one needs to be solid rubber
