I replaced the upper bypass hose because it got old and began to leak. I opened to radiator cap to top off fluid only to find a muddy substance. I flushed to system by removing the drain plug till all came out clear. Replaced the plug and put a new rubber o-ring on the drain plug. With the plug, not crossthreaded, and fully reinserted. I now have a steady flow of fluid leaking out. this leak doesnt seem to be coming from the plug but instead directly under the plug on the diaphram looking saucer mount thingy. No pooling around it, just a direct steady flow on the bottom of the UFO looking thing. Suggestions? Gonna Do a Pressure check today to try and locate the issue. But any Ideas?

Probably a bad O-ring on the pet-c**k.

That doesn't mean it does not leak

x2. You might be better off with the old one just in case the one you installed is the wrong size.

O-rings can sometimes tear even when properly lubed up, so just put the old one back on. Sometimes if the o-ring is new it can roll up, in this case it might have rolled up to the threads. Most times the pet-c**k does not need to come all the way out to drain the radiator.

I took the Radiator out. The Drain did not need to come all the way out as suggested above. The UFO thingy I made reference to is actually some sort of drain. I had an extra radiator sitting around, so I just did a Complete swap.
Works fine now. Thanks Guys for your input.
