Just did this swap this weekend. Found an SS in the junk yard and well needless to say i took everything! 32.99/each front seat (leather and heated) and the two sections of the backseat 10.99/each. SS cluster 30.00 and center console 12.00! I am keeping column shift, now I just need to figure out what to do with the console shift opening!

Since I had the base model I had cigarette lighters in the pull out ashtray. so i drilled those in the back of the center console and hooked the SS ones up to the harness

As far as the door panels and dashboard to get the carbon fiber trim and impala leather insert all I did was rip them off the junkyard panels, taped them to my panels and took a wooden dowel with some 1 minute epoxy on the end of it , shoved it through the hole then glued around the dowel.

I just used some locktite spray adhesive for the leather insert

Overall I would say I am very happy about the switch!

Looks like parts from an LS Sport and not an SS

SS had solid headrests, SS on the door panels (not the Impala logo) and I believe different seat covers as well. The cluster will have a boost gauge if its from an SS

yeah, I'll never own leather seat without them. I regret not putting them into the Monte when I did the seats, but she's tucked away for the winters anyway

Sure wish I had 'em. Sad Is there any practical way to do it at this juncture? W/O having to replace the whole seat? I imagine it would be hard to find one/some that would be near the shape mine are in now...especially the driver's,which is all I'd really be worried about anyway. Shocked

The LS Sport ,which I have,is the only one I'm sure of...along with the "graphite" trim.
