Hello everyone.. Its been a long time since I have been around here. Im looking to wake up my 2004 SS a bit.

Here is what I would like to start with... your thoughts and concerns would be greatful.

I'll make my own CAI.

Stainless steel headers with 3" downpipe from wbodystore.com
http://www.wbodystore.com/exha.....npipe.html

My question is with this set-up, Do I need a rear O2 Sim on the downpipe or can I have it deleted from an Overkill tune? Or do I have to do both?

Exhaust system from ZZPerformance
http://shop.zzperformance.com/.....haust.aspx

3.4 MPS.. (possibly a 3.2 pully) Autolite 104 plugs and 180 Thermostat. Can I use the stock belt with this pully swap or have to buy a smaller one?

Thrasher shift kit and Overkill tune. Any problems using this shift kit with a Overkill tune?

Anything else I should add or do for this set-up? Thanks.

HAVE IT DELETED FROM OVERKILL IN THE PCM. YOU'LL PHYSICALLY NEED THE O2 IN THE PIPE FOR VISUAL INSPECTION

3.4 MPS.. (possibly a 3.2 pully) Autolite 104 plugs and 180 Thermostat. Can I use the stock belt with this pully swap or have to buy a smaller one?
WILL NEED A SMALLER BELT

Thrasher shift kit and Overkill tune. Any problems using this shift kit with a Overkill tune?
CHECK WITH WILL FROM OVERKILL, SOME SHIFT KITS PLAY WELL WITH TUNES, SOME DONT[/b]

No need to have, no visual inspections or emissions testing where I live.

I talked with him on the other forum, he said it would work fine.

Most definitely on the KR.

What do you think about upgrading to a different cam and valve train? Its been on my mind as well.

Thanks for the info Pitch.

all depends on what you want to spend. If doing a cam / valvetrain, look into heads as well. The cam will want the extra airflow

Yeah every car is different. My last SS I ran a 3.4 with no problems. My current SS I'm running a 3.5 with 1.9 rockers and still get a bit of KR uptop. Best thing to to is scan scan scan.
