Friday night I sold the wagon, just felt like it was time for something different. I found a 2007 Silverado ext. cab LT 2wd and I liked it alot. It drove so smooth I was sold. The mod plans are to lower it, rims, tonnuel cover, make it my own and make it stand out lol. The only thing that sucks is that I gotta start fresh on a new forum and im back to learning everything lol

The day I brought her home

j/k, I've been looking for a similar truck. 2010+ 2WD, extended cab, minimum 5.3L to replace the 300

So I have to ask, since it pops into my mind every time someone gets a truck, do you actually *NEED* it?

Magnum looked nice, hopefully it went to a nice home Cool

Cause lowering a 4wd truck is mildly retarded.

I agree though personally I would never buy a 2wd truck. The lowered thing isn't my cup of tea.

Nice truck though good luck with it.

For me, I do have a need for the bed, nothing heavy, but bulky.

as for 2WD vs 4WD, Im looking to build a muscle truck and lowering it will improve handling. I would even consider lowering a 4WD since Im not looking to slam it and would still have a functioning 4x4 system for the snow.

There is no off-roading on Long Island, its all illegal except for the beach, which is $120 per year with limited access throughout the season. When it snows, Im not going anywhere, and if I do, the roads are plowed quickly here. I live on a major secondary road and only 5 houses from a major state road.

I'd love a built 4x4, but with no where to wheel, its useless. I wont own a mall crawler. If Im building a 4x4, it will be used for just that and have the crap beat out of it every weekend.

And while I love the looks of that truck, it would never survive what Id do to it.
