The solder on the tab on the defroster or the radio may have failed. I had some radio reception issues when one of the solder joints on my defroster tab failed seven or eight years ago. The tab finally came completely off five months ago and I soldered both ends of it back in a month or so ago. Radio reception issues have disappeared and of course my defroster is working again.

I used an automotive paste solder called Solder-It. Way easier and safer to use than your typical solid solder and the flux is mixed in.

If your radio is not getting power it is likely a different issue altogether.
