Just bough a aux cable wiring kit for my 04 impala ls.its a AAI GM12 made by pac-audio.has anyone installed this to there cars?

From a quick look up it seems the only difference is that the aai gm12 is to be used in Impalas with the CD changer in the trunk (if that's what they mean by slave unit) and the isgm535 is for one with just the factory radio. It depends if you have a CD changer or not, from there it looks like it should be a simple plug and play except for the activation of the satellite port for the isgm535 to function. Seems like more work than necessary to have an aux port, that's why I just bought an aftermarket stereo, like most people do. But I assume u chose this route because you want to keep stock radio for its functions for lights and message center etc
