The imp's battery drained one night that I had been in it during the night for a bit w/o the car on. Figured that I left something on (although lights are led and radio was off). It did it again today, twice. Magic trigger? If I use remote start the car will not start and will drain the battery. This time however, the key did get it going after figuring out it was the remote start.
Battery: ~12.5v
Alt: ~14.0v.... 14.1-14.5 when driving

I'm guessing it's the battery (overdue) but I figured I'd ask about the symptoms anyway. Using remote start the security light comes on (only on remote start), dash & radio as normal, then it'll try and fail to start. Voltage drops down to ~8v it looks like on start. Security light won't come on if using the key and the voltage drop isn't as great (maybe 10v) will test more.
This is all w/ my amp unplugged - was kind of hoping that it was the cause, but no. New battery is where I'll start. At latest the current one expired in 08. Laughing

EDIT: Yup, battery. Also: was stupid enough to replace it after pulling a double N->Days AND decided to exchange the core while I was at walmart... took 3 hours... mostly in line for walmart customer service. + doing this in the parking lot w/o the right wrench to disassemble my battery terminals that have bolts for extra cables.... gah...
