Ok its about time i replace the rotors and brake pads.
First off Im looking to spend either between 200-300 for parts. Im looking for pads with good stopping power, dont squeak and mimimul dust. Rotors, just some that wont warp.
Suggestions...

Also how easy is this to do yourself? I usually take to a shop to do this, but I really dont want to be charged alot for labor charge.

Not sure on suggestions... but I always replace brake pads with ceramic pads. Also, it is so so so easy. A lot of fun too! Let me know if you need any tips, have done countless brakes.

$200-$300 for just the fronts, or for all four corners?

Akebono makes some pretty good pads. I'd recommend them. I've also had GREAT luck with the GMPP front pads. Never a noise, no dust and I've got about 40k on them with more than half left. Bad part is the $116 price tag though.

I had great luck with Centric rotors (both the standard and coated versions) on the Monte Carlo and Intrigue. Never had any warping issues once I switched to them.

I just replaced the pads and rotors on my 2001 when I did my F-body upgrade about five years ago. I forget which rotors I had (I got them from a friend that used to work at an auto parts distributor five or six years ago - it wasn't Brembo or Baer but I think it started with a B) but I had Akebono ProACT ceramic pads.

I took the rotors off last week with the intention of having the rotors machined down to get rid of a warp that was only apparent under heavy braking or at highway speeds. The pads had some life left, but not a whole lot (five years of wear; probably about 50k miles) so I decided to change them out.

The rotors couldn't be machined because they wore more at the outer edge than the inner which was probably why they felt warped. I didn't notice any unusual wear to the rotors during a visual inspection. Bottom line is the Akebono pads gripped well but wore the rotors down.

I switched to Wearever Platinum Ceramics from AAP ($50ish; best deal I could find without spending more money on a higher end pad locally) and got the BrakeBest rotors from O'Reilly (2 year warranty) for $41 each. While braking is still good, they seem to require a little more pedal pressure than the Akebonos. I'm just happy to have a smooth pedal and steering wheel back and if they end up warping within two years I'll just get them swapped out.

I ran R1 Concepts premium rotors on all 4 with Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. Best combo I had on that car.

I out a hard 20k on the rotors and they were running true when I sold it. I believe he went another 20k on them before changing.

I had the F-Body fronts

Yeah,.. they may just be glazed and slightly warped. No need to spend the extra money unless you want to upgrade anyway.

Back pads and rotors need to be replaced.
Fronts have half life on pads.
Front is where my vibration is coming from.

SO I can either just replace the backs or do the whole thing.

Edit: Decided to do the whole thing. After I get all the parts and a C-Clamp, Do I need any kind of brake cleaner or oils?

I second that. I use the akebono street performance pads and bosche quiet cast rotors. Lifetime warranty rotors from O'Reilly. I expect to replace rotors every brake job anyway so the lifetime warranty is great and the pads stop great

A can of Brake Kleen, good all around cleaner, very aggressive. Clean the rotors with it before install. They will have oils on them from the milling process and can contaminate the new pads

Great. Are there any Impala Brake how to steps or videos on NAIOA? Or that you know off the top of your head?
