After repairing various leaks in my cooling system...elbows...and radiator...Im still having issues with heat.
After performing the maintenance, I serviced the and bleed the system.
Im now having questionable heat issues....The heat output seems to work fine some times, but other times it seems to only feel barely warm.
I realize I could have a slightly clogged heater core or possibly an air pocket...but what I want to know is there an actual temperature the heat is supposed to produce? As in a number spec that GM would test for?
I have an alldatadiy account, but couldnt find anything about temperature specifications.
Is the heat producing at all times or is it cold at certain times? is it cold at idle then warms up during acceleration? or is it just hot and cold when it wants to be? I'm not aware of a "specific temp" that the heater core is supposed to blow out since it runs off of the engines coolant to supply it's heat.
