Finally have a home for the Monte, converted my shed into a garage. Its 12x23. Installed a 10' door. Now I just need to clean it out and find a new home for the lawn equipment

Looks good
And a little jealous
Could use a little more garage / storage space myself.

Sounds like nailing together a custom shed attached to the side or Rear of the New Garage is in your Future.

Nice place for the Monte to spend time this winter.

What did you have to do to make it a garage besides the door? Make it bigger? Reason I ask is because it looks damn good like it was originally a garage Cool

Had to strip the siding, cut the opening, install header, frame door, reside the wall. Also had to move all the electric that was in that wall. Had to drop the lights and ceiling inside to mount the rails. Had door installed. Plus had to pour the concrete ramp and move an inground sprinkler.

Looks good! Is the 86 going to sleep in there for the winter?

Slap a blade on the Deer tractor & park it in the main garage for the winter. Grab a "easy to assemble" mini shed for the other summer yard tools & your set for the winter Laughing

dont have a main garage, this is it. I have way too much driveway for that little plow to handle and no where to put the snow. A quality 2 stage snow blower is what I use, can throw the heaviest snow about 30' and can clear my bushes and fence.

I was going to either epoxy or tile the floor, but a friend moved into a new shop and the entire thing was carpeted with these commercial tiles. He was throwing them out, so I grabbed them. They were in great shape. I actually got them for my brothers basement, but he didnt use them.

So I put them down on the garage floor.

Im thinking of doing commercial vinyl tile next year, probably match the car, all white with 2 silver stripes down the center

Used to be 2 10x10 steel sheds on a concrete pad, lost them in a storm, so since we already had the slab, we decided to build a nice big shed.

That'd be a pretty awesome look! The inlaws carpeted the garage under their 69 Dart, but I don't think it'd be a good situation if you were bringing cars in and out of the rain.

I thought about thsoe u-coat-it systems (or similar), but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

How much lawn equipment do you have that it won't fit in a 23' long garage with a car?
