...how can I do it with an aftermarket HU? I've done some Googling and all I find is the usual method via the stock HU,then the method(s) of doing the light switch thing which both seem to require some kind of OBD tool to clear it. I have a basic scan tool, but it won't touch it.

This was after I did an oil change at JiffyLube,(I know, don't razz me) and told them not to fool with the tires/pressure check...but,I just needed to get it done.I shoulda waited 'til yesterday when I ended up doing my tranny filter/fluid,fuel filter, and front brake pads. Rolling Eyes

It's getting very annoying. Thanx for any help/feedback.

The only other method I know is pulling the light stick out (to parking lights) and pushing it back in, 3 times within 5 seconds with the car turned to ON, but not started.

I saw that Chibi...but that method always seemed to be followed up/completed by an OBD inclusion.

Thanx for the quick reply...I will read some more and try it...again...

Holy crap. I really wonder how they do this stuff sometimes. It's like preprogrammed cheat codes lol
