I just replaced my power steering pressure line......HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!!!! any suggestions on how to bleed the system?? its making that horrible whining sound Confused

Fill it to the recommended line and cycle the wheel slowly back and forth from stop to stop about ten times. Check the fluid level again and top off if necessary.

If it keeps happening, you may need to put a tiny bit more fluid into the reservoir and hope the air will work itself out over time. I had a little bit of steering noise for the first several weeks after I changed my rack and the air bubble finally worked itself out.

should I keep the engine off while turning? and should I keep the cap off as well???

Factory service manual says 180-360 degrees five times in each direction with the engine running and cap off without turning the steering wheel to lock...but honestly it will take a week or more of normal driving to get ALL the air out, which you will want the cap on for.
