For those with the new 2014 could you check your center dash mood lighting trim? I've noticed that all of the lighting that wraps around from the doors to the center dash give the impression of a single solid line EXCEPT for the mood lighting trim on both sides of the steering wheel.

The trim lights at these locations (two pieces on each side of the wheel) are manufactured incorrectly and the view that is given off is of 3 separate lines when it should be one solid line.

If you have the mood lighting and look, you will see what I mean.

Also noticed that the chrome strip on the rear bumper that says 'Impala' was not fully seated on my 2LTZ. I had to push it in on the right side.

Also the chrome strip on the passenger door towards the front end needed pushed on better so that double sided tape would stick.

Basic 1st year new model issues.

I don't know if i'm imagining it, but it appears as if the center section of my ambient lighting is growing dim.I thought it may be the cold weather, but it is the same when hot out.it is for sure brighter by the doors, but not in the center after the 1st bend. Is there is a way for the dealer to check this, and if something wrong how would they replace it?

I don't see any bulletins pertaining to the tube lighting in the dash or doors. I noticed the same thing in a customer's vehicle the other day too.

If you vehicle is still under warranty, I would complain and see if they will replace it. If not under warranty, they may still replace it under a "customer enthusiasm" type situation.

Good advice, get them while warrranty is still there because there will be more issues as it ages.
both front parking lights burnt out within a week of each other 2 months ago...fixed.
I had the BS Monitor ...aka Blind Spot Monitor fixed last week . it took all day, they replaced the module behind the rear bumper. module from woodstock...
Now 2 of the 5 turn signal LED's in the driver side mirror are burnt out.
car goes in on monday for that..........
.
Does anyone know anything about the 4G upgrade that will be req'd for my OnStar?? I suppose that comes out of my pocket.
My pockets are EMPTY.
