Got a 2002 impala 3.8 and acceleration is getting sluggish just put plugs and wires last year...any suggestions?

Have you changed the catalytic converter yet? I'd expect that if it hasn't been replaced, it's getting plugged. The car will progressively lose power.

My second suggestion is fuel filter needs replacing. But my money is still on cat converter.

yeah that clogged the year before now I got the magnaflow but I can tell a difference cause when the cat clogged I thought it was the tranny

ac delco iridium plugs and ac delco wires, used a magnaflow cat are they any good? it was cheaper than others. no engine light or anything which im surprised the way its acting

magnaflow cats are fine, they sometimes set off a P0420 code because they are too good. But that issue is very hit or miss and sometimes takes a while to show up.

Have you changed the fuel filter? It should be done periodically. I forget the interval, but I used to change mine yearly.
