I am not sure how long it has been doing it but noticed a few nights ago, the light in the switch flashes inconsistently. If I hit the switch it stops but starts again a while later. Any ideas? Thanks. -Matt

yea, this makes sense. Check for terminal fretting. Basically, the contacts get this black buildup on them, sometimes hard to see with your eye, but enough to cause an intermittent contact problem. Unplug and plug the connector in and out a few times, add dielectric grease and re-evaluate. The wiring runs back into the BCM ( body control module). Check the C2 connector if the above doesnt work. Its a grey connector and its right next to a pink connector. Plug it in and out, add a thin strip of dielectric grease to the whole connector and plug it back in. See if its better now....by the way this is located under the dash to the left of the brake pedal. It shoud be a black box with a bunch of connectors going into it. Hope this helps.
