Ok so I finally started messing with my HPTuners Suite today. All I changed so far was the speed limiter, tire size, and the shift points a little lower on low throttle percentage.
So I'm really worried at the KR I'm seeing.... on a 3400 with only an intake, downpipe, and axle-back. With the stock tune and with what I changed, I'm seeing up to 15 degrees!! WTF.
It shows a bunch of KR at wot and right after it shifts at lower throttle, maybe its picking up the trans lugging or something?
I'm at a complete shock seeing this so wondering what you guys think?
Thanks

Sounds about right. These engines have crazy amounts of KR with the stock tune. I was seeing upwards of 13 on my Monte Carlo with a stock tune and similar mods. Nothing to be alarmed about.

Try a higher octane fuel and see if your kr decreases. If no difference from 87 to 93 octane, you may want to research false kr.

It's not false KR for the most part. It's the stock tune causing nearly all of it.

That's a good point. Put the stuff back to stock. Now I'm seeing 9 degrees at wot and up to 15 after it shifts.

The fricking radio won't turn off now even after I open the door. This only happened after I hooked up the hptuners. I need to fix this ASAP or my battery is gonna die because I don't drive it all the time.
