That's what I used. Make sure to pick up some new hub bolts though, odds are you will wreck at least one of them in the process of getting the old one out.

Three bolts hold the hub to the knuckle. Unfortunately they are made of a very soft metal and you will mangle them getting them out. They are 3 bucks and change at the dealer. I ended up rounding out 3 of the 6 on my front hubs when I did mine. I'd recommend dropping 20 bucks on 6 new ones so you don't have to worry about it.

They are float around 90 these days. Between that and having to pay for shipping, the Amazon price is right on (with the benefit of Prime shipping if you have it). My general rule of thumb is compare Amazon and Rock Auto "out the door" pricing. If its just a few bucks different, I go with Amazon since I usually get it next day.

Just replaced both of my front hubs earlier today. Wish I would have come to this thread earlier because those hub bolts sure are a pain in the Head Explode!. IffyG's advise is spot on. Luckily, I had the patience to keep them intact otherwise i'd be SOL.

Edit: What's so good about Timken?

Timkens (and maybe SKF and Moog) are the only respectable aftermarket hubs available for this platform. Anything else fails in pretty short order.

Moog has been taken off the unofficial NAIOA list of recommend hubs due to ScottMPala's issues having to change out the same hub almost half a dozen times under warranty.

If the failure rate is typically quite low and a single vehicle has repeated issues, I would point at user/installer error or some mechanical defect on that specific vehicle, rather than barring a brand.

I think ScottMPala has even mentioned he hasn't ruled out other issues that could lead to increased hub failure on that particular car.

Its a good idea to change out the bolts anyway, I believe they are torque to yield.
