Hello, my fellow Impala geeks. I am happy I found this great forum! Love my 13 year old base 3400, even tho I'm on my third tranny! Yoiks! I bought it brand new, and it only has 81,000 miles on it. Been kicking around some performance ideas, which I will address, elsewhere. I will be picking your brains, so prepare yourselves for some really stupid questions! Wink

Welcome to NAIOA!!! Mind me asking how did you get 3 transmissions in that vehicle with that low of mileage? My old 2001 Impala had all original transmission besides normal fluid changes before it was T-Boned and had 186,000 Miles

Some cars are good... some are bad... Arvetus went through 5 of 6 in the time he had his Impala.
