My fourth FPR looks like its gone bad as well, and I'm not a happy camper! Laughing

My original FPR lasted 5.5 years, then went through 2 Autozone (<1 year and 2 years so definitely not getting one of those again) and 1 AC Delco (2 years and is now leaking). Advance lists a Delphi part as well, and that its the OEM part.

Has anybody used the Delphi before? Figure it really cant be any worse than the other ones of the market!

And I do love how everybody only warrants 3400 FPRs for one year, grrrrr. Mad

Delphi is a GM parts supplier. Some of the a/c compressors we had in stock at the Chevy dealer said Delphi instead of AC Delco. GARY

Well, sometimes there is OEM Ac Delco, which is made to GM specs. And then then there is AC Delco's own version which is usually cheaper.

OEM = 17113622
Delco = 19236431

Interdasting. Didnt know AC Delco makes 2 versions of it.

I wound up ordering a Delphi from Rockauto.com, its the cheapest option at this time, and it honestly cant be any worse that what I've had already. Laughing

Yup, Delphi has supplied most of the A/C systems in many GM cars. AC Delco parts are good as well, but when I did my A/C overhaul, they surely werent the original Delphi quality parts! The AC Delco condenser from the dealer was the same piece thats found aftermarket, and the compressor was Korean built which works fine 2 years later, but it has its times when it rattles for a few months then gets quiet again. Laughing

Delphi doesnt have the best parts availability though, which sucks because they make good parts at good prices as well.
