Looking to paint my calipers because they are looking really bad. When I put my summer set of wheels on, it takes away the look of them with a faded, rusty looking caliper behind them. What color is best? I have a silver car and my wheels are black. I've narrowed it down to a gloss or a glossy silver.

Silver would look good, makes it stand out. Try stenciling impala on them with black would be sick. Also if I were you I would powdercoat them. Otherwise just make sure you take the calipers off to paint them and sand them good beforehand. Don't paint the brake pads.... Trust me lmao

I'd go with black (unless you have F-body calipers). No sense in making the tiny stock calipers stick out behind an aftermarket wheel.

I did gray with silver impala script, but you get the idea. Would look good with black too.

i planed on putting the impala script on them. I am not upgrading to F body calipers. I was leaning towards silver but i didn't even take into the account of the size of the caliper. Now i am leaning towards black with a silver impala script.

I do not want to remove them however. Too much work to bleed them and whatnot with my busy schedule. I was gonna do my best to clean them up with a wire brush, sandpaper, and degrease. I will mask of the brake pad, i already knew that is so lame Cool .
