i have a 2000 monte carlo ss 3.8l
i need to replace o2 sensors.
i thought i read somewhere only to use ac delco or the aftermarket ones with set off codes and turn on check engine light.

can anyone confirm this. also would anyone the the ac delco part number for the upper o2 sensor?

AC Delco and potential Denso are the only ones you should go with. Everything else is really shoddy as far as quality goes and you will end up replacing the replacement in pretty short order. Shoot ZSPOT a PM and he can hook you up with a part number and a price that you will find very difficult to beat.

I bought denso aftermarket. Ive ran them the past 3 years.

AC Delco works 100%

Denso works 90%

Bosche works 10%
