I decided against lowering and stuck with stock size, but wanted a newer look and needed some good tires. I hit the right discounts and rebates last month through discount tires and ordered up some 16x7 MB Alpina wheels and General Altimax RT 225-60-16s. With all the discounts I think I got a great deal to upgrade my rollers and look. I drive 700+ miles a week so i figured the Impala deserved a little pampering. Also got a 4 wheel alignment to ensure these last a long time.

Car rides and drives terrific. Everything fit just right.

On to what people really want...pictures...

That combination looks a little too aggressive for your car. I'll take them off your hands Very Happy

I probably would have stuck with the old wheels unless I could have gone with a bigger wheel. The new ones look decent, but they are far too aggressive looking for a 16 inch wheel. But hey, if you like them, my opinion isn't worth s**t. Laughing

Hated the stock ones. They look like something off an 80s Pontiac. Thought about plastidip but with how cheap I got the wheels, I had to do it. Less than 600 in the new wheels and tires...mounted balanced n delivered.

Those are the most desirable stock wheels. If you don't plan on using them again, clean them up and post them for sale. You should be able to get some cash for them without much trouble.

Thought about using them for winter setup.
