Can someone point me in the right direction for a how to do this? You know, low beams on when high beams are picked on.

Thanks all.

Agreed! I've had mine hooked up for years now with no ill affects with my BCM or HID's.

Sorry to bump a nine month old thread, but rather do it than start one based off the same topic...

I did the quad headlight modification years ago. The relay I originally had went maybe two or three months ago, so I got one from PepBoys. That new one just blew in a similar way (open it up, and it smells burnt).

Didn't have any info on the type of relay, so the guy at PepBoys gave me a "common" one. What one should I be looking for? I got the original when I got the DRL/ALC kit from bbengineer, and he walked me through wiring it up. Forget how I even got the relay. I'm figuring the one I got was just crappy PepBoys cheap garbage, which the one by me seems to get the cheapest parts available, but figured I'd find out what the mod calls for before going into another place.

Thanks.

That's a common relay that everyone uses. But they come in many different amp capabilities. For example at the parts counter where I worked, the tech's preferred the relay supplied by Volvo vs the one in an AC/Delco box, as the Volvo relay could handle more current. They all look exactly the same, so you have to figure out which supplier makes the relay that will handle more juice. GARY
