I'm trying to decide on a color to go with my impala for future mods. Basically will do interior leds in this color and whatever else I decide to do, maybe cluster rings, lugs nuts, overlays, etc.
My car is galaxy silver. I'm sure most of you know what it looks like.
I'm thinking:
-Orange (maybe kinda copper colored)
-Green (darker green, or dark metallic green) (maybe a lighter green for the leds)
-Red (Maroon maybe?)
-White?
-Teal?
-Blurple (blue-purple, my favorite color if I could find the leds, if not maybe a UV purple color)
Blue just seems too common on a silver car, so I dont want to do that.

I want all opinions on what you think I should do. Also, I'll make this a poll
Thanks!

I find color coordinating items results in adding coloured items just for the sake of tying things in, which ends up looking really crappy in my opinion.

Hard to suggest colors online and then try to match them with several products, especially lights vs. objects.

I'd say blue, an electric or metallic blue of some sort. But you don't want to do blue... so I don't know what to tell ya. Most colors will match well with silver, but don't go nuts making everything the accent color just for the hell of it.

On my own car, which is also Galaxy Silver Metallic, I'd just use gloss black. Matches the factory dogbones and swaybars Laughing

I understand. I'm not wanting to go crazy with it. Just to the extent of maybe overlays, decal for the center caps, MAYBE lug nuts, interior LEDs, and I don't really want to do anything under the hood unless it's a dark color that doesn't stick out.

Word of warning with the interior leds, choose your colors carefully. I loved my blue LEDs, but they were hell on my eyes for long drives at night on dark stretches of highway. If I was driving for more than an hour or so, I'd switch my Aeroforce over to the Speedo and kill my interior lighting.

Funny you should say that, I used to do the exact same thing for the exact same reason.

Yeah I bet blue or purple wouldn't be too good on the eyes. I think I'm leaning more on white or orange for the LEDs then. But if I do white I can still do whatever other color I want for others things.

Really? I never have that issue
Maybe to low resistor value?

I wouldn't do orange, That would probably kill the resale value of the car. Most people would not want orange back lighting. But then again most people wouldn't want blue either. White seems like the safest option

The stripe is a metallic gray, wheels are black and machined/clear coated polished aluminum. That's about it right now. I don't have overlays or anything. I have an slp grille to install but I gotta get something for the middle because the bowtie is missing

I think it may be dependent on you eyes are positioned relative to the cluster. Since I'm a tall guy, I was sitting pretty high up in the car and the path of the light might have been more direct for me. Didn't really matter to me though as it only bothered me driving at night in the middle of nowhere.

I hate to be rational, but the resale value of a ten year old Impala is pretty much nothing to begin with, so he may as well do what he wants.

Id match the grille emblem to the interior color. Thats just the way I roll.

You may be onto something. Driving on unlit highways at night I often turn the factory bulbs off. I'm 6'4" so my sitting position is pretty high.

Seems like all of use that drive impalas are tall lol. I'm 6'2. I have my factory lights turned down quite a bit so it's not really brightness that I'm after. Just color change.
Ive been having trouble finding the slp or even that small of a bowtie
