The car is coming along. Here are a few shots of the project. Also, I do not recommend this hood to anyone. Made by Duraflex and was a total Nightmare..Going to be black Metallic.

I am in Anderson, about half hour northeast of Indy. The hood was just a total piece of crap. Looked good out of box but had more pinholes, ups and downs and just total body work. They had so much of the black stuff on it to cover it nice but beneath that was another story. I emailed Andy's Auto Sport about it but they just said they would pass it on to Duraflex. No help there. I suggest if anyone wants one, to cut the center out and mount it on your existing hood. That is what my body guy said he should of done. I guarantee if you had a body shop install it for you, add an extra 6-800 to straighten it out. No lie. Read some of the Duraflex reviews for other products like body kits and you will see the same problems. It will look good but a lot of manpower to get it there. Luckily the guy doing mine is a friend. Hood is advertised as professional quality but like I said-NOT-its JUNK. If I hadn't already had so much work done on it, I would have sent it back.

I (think) I have the same wheels as you on a Galaxy Silver car as well...I actually have some paint and body work to do as well and I'm hoping to turn my garage into a spray booth and work on it this summer.

They are 18" Zeba's. I had them on my 07 Monte SS. Sits it up a little higher and looks good the the wider stance.

Did the hood physically fit the car right? I was actually going to buy just the scoop, mount it on the stock hood, reinforce it, and paint it, rather that doing the whole hood anyways.

I'm not too concerned with body work, i own a business doing sound systems/paint/perform/etc, so me and my body/paint guy could tackle it.

I too heard a lot of bad stuff about the Duraflex products. I looked into a set of fenders for the 300 and when I inquired about them on LXForums, every reply was negative.

I like that hood a lot more than I thought I would. Can't wait to see a finished product.

Havent forgotten you all. Car has been getting there slowly. Actually painted it but sanded it back off. Should be done by this weekend. Pics will be up when finished. Hood has been a royal pain and no where near worth it.

was thinking the same thing. I think they just have the same set of wheels because IIRC amofitt did a demod and sold a lot of his stuff. I could be wrong though.
