I really like the tail light covers on all the Impalas I see on the road. I want to cover my tail lights on my 2000 Impala, Just don't know where to get them. Anyone know where I can find them? If they even make them that is.

Welcome Roc. Tail light covers. You may change your mind when u see the cost. Check out Ebay. Local junk yard or Google. Came on SS and LS with sport package I believe. Good luck. Cool

Way too expensive in my opinion to buy from dealer. Almost 500 I believe. Best bet is to watch the for sale section here/other related forums/eBay/Craigslist. Also junkyard is always a fun place to find stuff.

People have also painted on "tail covers" or there is the option of vyinl.

EDIT:

Did some research for you...
If you have mad cash, here are the part numbers
88956008 - LEFT COVER $325 ($199 on gmpartsdirect.com)
88956009 - RIGHT COVER $329 ($202)
88956010 - CENTER COVER $518 ($201)
Way way way to expensive... And remember you have to paint them and apply them.

Here is the topic on painting on taillights

And if you want the vinyl...

FWIW or resident vinyl guy pretty much said that the vinyl tail light covers are almost impossible to install correctly. I wouldn't waste time or money on them. If I was dead set on getting that look, I'd go with the paint method for the best bang for the buck.

I had a set for a couple years, but sold them, and ended up painting my taillight panel. Nobody even noticed that I removed the factory covers Laughing

Vinyl isnt a DIY option, its best left to the professional. You are looking at a few hours of install at a standard $60-$100 per hour shop rate.

Its cheaper to paint the stock taillights to mimic the covers.

Plus, there is no such thing as color matched vinyl, so 99.9999% if the time, it wont match at all (even the black isnt a match)
